Of course, one cannot avoid starting from Leo Fender’s creations that we can rightly consider the father of the electric bass. His basses have influenced the market so much that they are still imitated, after more than half a century, and constitute the standard for the construction of an electric bass. Very often, both affordable basses and high-quality ones adhere with some variations to the fundamental Fender models.
